MoM
New acoustic pendant
MoM is a sound-absorbing suspended light designed to meet our basic human need for good lighting and a plesant soundscape. First priority has been the cultivation of the ultimate good light, next our designer has made the conscious choice to design a lamp housing that embodies humanity, softness and tactility in the selection of materials.
In it´s design MoM blends the tight minimalist expression that metal excels at with a soft tactile core represented by natural hemp and the beauty from the acoustic textiles from Kvadrat. The contrasts in materials create a fine interplay, a kind of duo that, in their oppositions, form a perfect match.

ABOUT THE LIGHT
We are a lighting company at heart and light quality always comes first. In MoM , the designer has integrated her absolute favourite when it comes to light quality.
The MoM is equipped with 8 miniature tubes delivering a precise and directed light characterised by its brightness and remarkable brilliance. The directed light creates a warm ambiance and a kind of room within a room feeling, a phenomenon we affectionately refer to as “people-including light “Light that welcomes every individual entering the room.
The Sound absorber with a Eco-Friendly dna.
We have designed MoM with sustainability at its core.
Through a collaborative effort with the organization Danish Sound an extensive research project led us to nature´s own sound absorbing materials. Today the MoM features hemp as sound absorber, an absorbing material sourced directly from mother nature, hence the name. With a carefully calculated density in material the eco-friendly hemp ensures exceptional sound absorption for both private and bustling public spaces.
THE FUTURE IS SOFT .
That´s no secret , we are really keen to add more soft, tactile and humane materials into room designs.
We do believe in a human oriented future and this growing humanity will be also reflected in our choice of materials. We will see more textiles and similar soft tactile surfaces and the good news is these materials also balance the acoustic qualities in the environment. In MoM we have design a soft core covered with the acoustic textiles from Kvadrat.
